RESEARCH ASSISTANT, THE RESEARCH FOUNDATION OF STATE UNIVERSITY OF NY AT BUFFALO

Assisted the Chair of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and his research partner to extend their research on how community organizations have pivoted their operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Performed extensive academic and popular literature searches to obtain publications that focused on community organizations during COVID-19. Organized and expanded a large existing database of community organizations. Prepared a final report describing how these organizations have adapted to COVID-19 and if there were any commonalities between their approaches.

Assist with supervisor roles regarding member inquiries. Assist with new hire training. Present new material during team meetings. Provide services for members and business partners in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
